Mangaluru: Mangaluru City police arrest two youths from Gadag while trying to sale a stolen motor bike near KSRTC bus stand on Friday morning. The two youths have identified as Suresh Bhajantri (21) son of Shivappa and Ramanna’s son Phakiresh Eligera (23).

Both are from Parasapura village located in Shirahatti taluk of Gadag district. The police have taken Hero Fashion Pro motor bike into their custody from the youth and value of the vehicle is estimated at Rs 55, 000.

The youths have admitted that the bike was stolen from Lakshmeshwara Nagar of Gadag when it was parked before Daya Wine shop.

The arrested came to Mangaluru by the stolen vehicle from Lakshmeshwara. The accused had changed the vehicle registration number before reaching the city.
