Mangaluru: Mangaluru City Crime Branch (CCB) police busted prostitution racket in the city and arrested four while rescued two women in an incident reported at Karangalpady on Saturday. The police also seized cash of Rs 31,500, seven mobile phones, two motor cycles worth Rs 2, 06, 100 worth property from the accused.

The arrested have been identified as Bantwal based Santhosh Kumar (32), Bijai Kapikkad resident Deepak (26), Thokkottu Permanoor native Naveen (40), and pimp Davangere based Asha G (23).

Asha was reportedly running the racket at an apartment in Karangalpady with the support of the arrested, Santhosh. All accused and the properties seized have handed over to Kadri police station for further legal proceedings.
