Mangalore : Sagar Ratna, the signature vegetarian restaurant of The Ocean Pearl will organize two weeks ‘Rajasthani Food Fest’ from February 11, Friday.
Speaking at the press meet held at Sagar Ratna in Feb 10, Thursday Nagarajan J Udupa, vice president of Sagar Ratna Groups of Hotels Pvt Ltd, said that the fest will serve the mouth watering vegetarian dishes prepared by renowned chefs from Rajasthan, who have been specially drafted for the festival will be the highlight.
A Rajsthani folk artiste will provide the suitable ambience in the backdrop at the restaurant. The colour and spirit of Rajasthan will be in the forefront at Sagar Ratna during the period of the festival.
Mr Udupa said that a wide array of Rajasthani assortments will be there for the taking, suiting the different needs of the customers. For starters, the famous Jali Samosa and Raj Kachori will vie with other other delicacies. The Main Course with any number of choices, offers Dal Bati Churma, Rajasthani Kadi, Paneeer Long Latha, Gatta Curry and Ker Sangri among other are the mouth watering options.
Among the Indian Breads, the choices include Bajra Roti, Thepla and Bikaneeri Paratta. The Dessert feature among other delicacies Marwadi burffi, Churma ladoo, Badam ki roti, Ghevar with rabdhi and Malpova with rabdhi, he said.
Mr Udupa said the Sagar Ratna Group will organize similar food festivals featuring delicacies from other parts of the country and the world in the days ahead.
