Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada district recorded six more deaths of corona virus on Friday. With this 36 deaths have occurred in the district.

A 67-year-old male from Ullal, 35-year-old man from Hossabettu, 65-year-old Falnir resident and a 58-year-old female from Thokkottu succumbed to the infection at the Wenlock Hospital here today. Two other persons died at private hospitals in the city. Their details are yet to be known.

As on July 9 the district had 1,709 confirmed coronavirus cases of which 702 patients were discharged after recovery and 977 cases are active.
