Mangaluru : Dakshina Kannada district recorded 131 coron cases and four deaths. Udupi reported 53 fresh cases and one death on Monday July 13 .

As per the district health bulletin, the 131 who tested positive on Monday, 16 are primary contacts, 63 have ILI symptoms, 10 have SARI symptoms, four have international travel history, and contacts of 38 are being traced.

As many as 62 patients were discharged on Monday from Wenlock as well as private hospitals. Total 24,950 samples have been sent for tests so far. As many as 22,589 have turned out negative, and 2,361 are positive till date. Out of these, 1,467 cases are currently active. As many as 844 persons have recovered and been discharged, and 50 deaths have occurred so far, including four on Monday.

Udupi district reported 53 fresh cases and one death on Monday. The 53 cases reported today include 31 men, 18 women and four children. As many as 27 belong to Udupi taluk, 23 are from Kundapur and three from Karkala. Twelve among them have ILI symptoms and 41 are primary contacts of earlier patients.
