Mangaluru: The second phase of Lok Sabha elections has started and the first phase of voting is going on in Karnataka. 14.33% percent voting recorded in Dakshina Kannada district  and Udupi-Chikkamagaluru 12.82% at 9 am

Voters are moving towards the polling booths and there has been a good response in DK district.

District Congress candidate Padmaraj R Pujari, who arrived at Kapitanio 179 polling station with his family, cast his right.

State Assembly Speaker UT Khader cast his vote at the polling station of Boliyar Government Senior Primary School in Ullal taluk.

District Collector Mullai Mugilan M.P. cast his vote in the 131 polling booth in Girls Government Pre-Graduation College Balmata, Mangaluru city. He arrived with his wife and claimed his claim.

Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik Ulippadi along with 9 mothers voted at Swami Vivekananda Undergraduate College, Edpadavu, Mangalore North Assembly Constituency.

Voting process has started in Udupi district and voters are enthusiastically participating in the festival of democracy. The seer of Palimaru matt voted.

Bharatiya Janata Party candidate for Udupi Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency Kota Srinivasa Pujari cast his vote at polling booth number 165 of his constituency Kotathatu Gram Panchayat at 7.30 am.

Udupi Chikmagalur Lok Sabha Constituency Congress Party Candidate K. Jayaprakash Hegde cast his vote at polling station number 97 of Corgi Smt. Girija Chandrasekhara Hegde Government Senior Primary School near his home at 7 am.
