Mangalore: M.N.Rajendra Kumar Jain has been unanimously elected as president on Wednesday (September.21) of South Canara District Central Co-operative Bank for the 8th consecutive term here.

Kumar was elected by a new board of directors chaired by senior director, Niranjana Bhavanthabettu, at the Board meeting. Kumar headed the Bank since 1994 and has also headed the Apex Bank in Bangalore later on.

The DCC Bank opened several new branches under Kumar in the last 17 years. There has been a phenomenal growth in all these years, and all branches are computerized, said a press release, issued on September.22.
The Co-operative Bank has services like ATM branch, mobile banking, seasonal loans and o on.
