Mangalore: The foundation stone laying ceremony for the Koti Chennayya Circle near Nandigudda was held on Oct 21, Sunday.

Large number of dignitaries including Mayor Gulzar Banu, MLA J. Krishna Palemar, Vinay Kumar Sorake, Deepak Poojary, K. B. Suvarna, Meera Ashok Kumar, Premanand Shetty and other participated in the ceremony performed by Harish Shanthi of Shree Brahma Baiderkala Garodi.

During the occasion, the Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) gave the responsibility of maintaining the circle to Narayana Guru Yuva Vedike.

The Koti –Chennayya Circle is expected to be completed before Jan 2013 with the estimated cost of Rs. 3,75,000.
