Mangalore : KJP district spokesperson M Hameed Kandak said that Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa do not need to prepare any election manifesto for the KJP party, but his developmental works will help him to get the votes.
Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on March 1, Friday he said that KJP has chosen ‘Coconut’ as party’s symbol. The party has selected candidates to contest in the upcoming local body elections only from 14 wards.
He said that the party is opted for ‘Coconut’ because it is an essential commodity and is also used for religious purposes.
Hameed said that Yeddy was the only CM who encouraged development and has an ability to transform state into an ideal one. During his turn, he had sanctioned the amount of Rs 300 crore for MCC the development of city.
He also announced the list of candidates contesting for the elections.
