Udupi: A Dubai returned man breathed his last in a collision between bike and a truck that took place on Tuesday evening, at Ganapanakatte, Moodubelle.

Johnson D’Souza (28) of Moodubelle is the deceased person.
The truck hit him on Tuesday morning. He was taken to the hospital immediately after the incident. He was seriously wounded and admitted in Manipal hospital. He died after not responding to the treatment in the evening.

He had returned back from Dubai on July 31, on leave. He was survived by parents and three siblings.

A case has been registered at Shirva police station.
