Mangalore : The Akhil Bharathiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP), students’ wing, staged a protest against the union government as of its national-level campaign called ‘Break the Silence’ in front of the DC’s office on Jan 7, Friday.
Addressing the protesters Mahesh, City Secretary of ABVP said that the students’ wing aims to expose the various scams led by Central Government under the leadership PM Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, who misleads the youth.
The purpose of the protest, he said that the students’ wing of ABVP will expose these corrupt leaders through ‘Break the Silence’ campaign, which was launched nationwide on Jan 6.
He also said that, the central government, has looted the nation of Rs. 1.76 lakh crore in the 2G scam and Rs. 78,000 crore in the Commonwealth Games and other scams.
They also said that, the campaign to create awareness among the public and urge them to break its silence over the scams of the central government, he informed.
