Mangaluru : Kannada, Tulu, and Konkani theater actress Vinni Fernandes, passed away due to cardiac arrest on Thursday July 29. She was 63.

Vinni acted in Kannada, Tulu and Konkani movies also. She had also featured in Kannada and Konkani serials. She began her acting career with roles in Konkani dramas and then got opportunity to feature in Tulu and Kannada dramas.

The actress had won Rajyostava Award too.

She is survived by husband Vincent, and children Pratap and Babita.
