Ankola : In a devastating road collision of vehicles (a car and a Tanker) on Thursday, at Ankola, Raviraj Shetty (60)of Bailur near Karkala, died and 4 others including car driver were severely injured. Shetty is related to Cine star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, it is stated.

Those injured in the road accident Jaya, Kanaka, Sulatha, and driver Rahmatullah F, were taken to KMC hospital in Manipal.

The family in car was proceeding to Pune in Maharashtra. A case of accidental death was registered by Ankola police for more investigation.
