Dubai : The much awaited international event of Alva’s Nudisiri Virasat will be held at Al Nasr Leisureland, Dubai on Thursday January 31 at 7 pm. An 80-member student artistes’ troupe from the Alva’s Education Foundation who have already arrived in Dubai on January 30 noon at 11.30 am to present the cultural festival. The event will also be staged in Abu Dhabi Indian School Auditorium, Abu Dhabi on Friday February 1. The programme includes dance, music and skits which will be a feast to the people in UAE.
Dr Mohan Alva has requested one and all to witness this maiden event in UAE to make it a memorable milestone in the service and development of Kannada cultural heritage.
Under the aegis of Alva’s Education Foundation, Moodbidri the newly formed ‘UAE Ghataka’ led by Dr Mohan Alva himself is all set for the launch of ‘Alva’s Vishwa Nudisiri-Virasat 2013’ which becomes the first international event of the Foundation.
On Tuesday January 29 Ghataka members held a meeting at Fortune Plaza Hotel chaired by Dr Mohan Alva in the presence of a large number of leaders and members of various associations of Karnataka in UAE.
