Mangalore: The DK minister incharge, Krishna Palemar, inaugurated the first exhibition of One’s own Educational Awareness March(Swaroopa Shikshana Jagrithi Jatha) at Town Hall on Monday morning here. It is a new form of educating children(such as Montessori or Kindergarten were), through specially conducted experiments, so different from what Robert Macaulay would have conjured up in his British times.

Palemar stressed on the need to bring about such a single way of learning, for which the Government has given the ‘nod’ signal, with a contribution of Rs.10lakhs immediately.
A Swaroopa Website was released on this occasion by Dr. M. Mohan Alva of Nudi-siri fame, Moodabidri. A CD based on ‘Swaroopa curriculum was released by film director Suchendra Prasad.

Capt. Ganesh Karnik, MLC, M.B. Puranik(President of Sharada Vidyalaya), Moses Jayashekhar,(DDPI-DK) were main guests.

Suma Adyar Welcomed.  K.V. Raman Compered the programme. Swaroopa study centre director Gopadkar was present. Several cultural shows were put up by Kendra(SS Centre)students by dance, music and doll play, to enhance one’s personality development.
