Mangalore: A periodical(Kalavadhi) annual Festival at Sri Sharavu Maha Ganapathy Temple will be held from 23-03-2012 to 31-03-2012 for a days in a colourful manner, and invitation dated February 23, 2012 from Managing Trustee, Sharavu Raghavendra Shastri, informed here.
The annual Car Festival draws thousands of devotees to the Sri Kshetra of Sharava, from Coastal areas and all over the state.
The Trustee has cordially asked all devotees with their families to participate in the daily events and take the blessings of Sharabheshwara and Lord Mahaganapathy of Sharavu.
The Prayers start at 10-30 morning of Friday March 23. At noon, the festival Flag will be raised on the pillar. Mahapooja is at 8 PM at night and a small car will be taken out at 9-30PM.
Cultural programmes will be inaugurated in the evening at 6PM in the Temple hall. MCC Commissioner Dr.K. Harish Kumar is the main guest.

There s a public honouring ceremony of 2 artistes and a technician.
