Mangalore : Members of HJV Mangalore City and Kulai residents committee will stage protest in front of DC Office on Feb 12, Tuesday against Drug Mafia and demanding to arrest the accused of Shivaraj.
Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Feb 8, Friday Satyajit Suratkal, convener of Hindu Jagarana Vedike he said that Shivaraj 25 year’s son of Raj Kulal and Vanaja Kulal from Kodikere Kulai was found murdered on July 20 near Jarandaya Temple, Tokur Village. He was a technician at Bharat Motors near Kuntikan for the last four years. Later the Panambur police arrested Prakash and Dinesh at Tannirbavi in connection with Shivaraj murder case. Prakash and Dinesh were arrested by the Panambur police at Tannirbavi in connection with Shivaraj murder case.
But the residents of Kulai suspect that the duo did not have the revenge on Shivaraj to such an extent so that they would take his life. But police department is not ready to listen to the statement and changing the track of the case and given a judgment that they both have killed him.
He said that the police have been imprisoned and protecting the real culprits. The Panambur police have failed to trace the real culprits and punish them. The case look like some communal groups has planned to prevail tension in the society, he said.
Speaking on the drug mafia, he said that when HJV and other Hindu outfits have urged the police department and district administration to track down the drug mafia, but they had completely ignored it, which resulted to the recent death of innocent death.
