Mangaluru: Devadas Kapikad’s Barsa Tulu movie produced under ‘Bolli Movies’ banner hit the silver screens across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on Thursday.

Tulu film producers union president T.A Srinivas inaugurated the film by lighting the lamp at Suchithra theatre here.

Speaking after the inauguration,T.A Srinivas said “Devdas Kapikad has entertained the audience with his drama and now he has set his mark in Tulu cinema too. His movies always have good screenplay, dialogues, acting and songs. I wish all the best to the entire team.”

The movie includes Arjun Kapikad and Kshama Shetty in lead roles with Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Sarojini Shetty, Umesh Mijar Suresh Kulal and others in the supporting roles. The film has been produced by Sharmila D Kapikad, Mukesh Hegde and Swapna Shrinivas Kini. Manikanth Kadri has rendered music with cinematography by P L Ravi. The stunts by Mass Madha, editing by Sujith Nayak and choreography by Giri and Gowri are the plus-points of the movie.

Sathish Kumpala, Prakash Pandeshwar, Jaganath Shetty Bala, Sharmila D Kapikad, Mukesh Hegde and Swapna Srinivas Kini were present at the occasion.
