Mangalore : Billava Mahila Sangha, Kudroli will hold the ‘ Decennial Celebrations’ at Damodar R Suvarna Auditorium-Narayanaguru College, Kudroli, on April 7 at 10am.
Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on March 25, Monday, Sumalatha N Suvarna, President of Billava Mahila Sangha said that BMS from the time of its existence, has been involved in various community activities and womens welfare programmes in city.
She also said that as a part of decennial year celebration, the organisation will hold varios community service programmes for women of community.
B M Rohini, a retired Senior Educational teacher, will inaugurate the event, while Sumalatha N Suvarna, President-BMS will be the guest of honour.
Janaki Brahmavara, Retired Educational Teacher, Dr Ramila Shekar, Dean at Roshini Nilaya School of Social Work, Mangalore and Gunavathi Ramesh, Vice-Principal, Al-Badriya College, Surathkal will be the guest speakers.
Vice-President Kamalananda Amin, Secretary Sukalakshmi Suvarna, Treasurer Revathi Ashok and Cultural Secretary Shakilaraj were present at the press meet.
