Moodbidri :  Two pedestrians sustained serious injuries when they were knocked down by a bus  which first rammed against an electric pole and a wall near the Moodbidri bus stop on November 20, Tuesday.

The bus was proceeding towards Moodbidri from Kinnigoli when the mishap took place. The injured are Satish  of Kervashe and Satish of Konaje. They have been admitted to Alva’s Hospital.

It is learnt, the driver of the bus lost control over the vehicle resulting in the accident. A Honda Activa parked on the roadside too was damaged.

The TMC Chief Ratnaker Devadiga saw to it that the damaged electric pole was vacated from the spot.

Moodbidri police have registered a case.
