Mangaluru : A 46-year-old man died on spot after a private bus rammed the motorcycle at the busy Lalbagh signal here on Saturday Nov.29.

The deceased has been identified as Kiran Kotian (46), a resident of Kudupu, was riding pillion on the motorcycle when the bus – headed from State Bank bus stand to Kinnigoli – rammed the bike, it is said.

Kiran was headed from Ladyhill towards PVS Circle and the bus was taking a turn from KSRTC bus stand towards Lalbagh. Police said the bus was travelling at a high speed and the bike was dragged for a distance of about 10 metres.

The deceased Kiran was riding pillion, the person who was riding the bike escaped unhurt.
