Mangalore : An anti-drugs awareness rally was taken out from near Besant College to Lalbagh in Mangalore on February 9, Saturday on behalf of the Campus Front of India.

The main objective of the rally was to enlighten the younger generation, particularly students on the ill-effects of drug abuse which was dangerously spreading its tentacles.

The Campus Front of India has expressed its grave worry over the fact that a number of students were falling prey to the drugs mafia and becoming victims of drugs and spoiling their future.

It has also urged for stern measures on the part of the administration to wipe out the menace from the society. The Campus Front of India has also urged for measures to set up a task force to tackle the menace.

Imran Thumbay, District President of Campus Front of India, State Committee Member Iqbal and several others  were present on the occasion.
