Bangalore: In a chat with presspersons at his residence on Race Course Road today. CM Yeddyurappa confessed that he had not finalized a list of MLAs to be sworn in today at Raj Bhawan, so the date was postponed. The final decision on new Ministers would be taken after consulting national (BJP) leaders who are not in station now.
There were dissenting voices within BJP legislators, and K.S. Eashwarappa thought it wise to cancel the swearing in ceremony today.
There were 6 vacancies in the cabinet and CM wanted to fill up 4 only. But the infighting among MLAs and ambition to secure Ministerships among some of them, delayed the date of oath taking to a future indefinite date, it is learnt here.
