Moodabidiri: Three days Alva’s Nudisiri – 2016 concluded in a grand manner by organising various cultural events on ten different stages, on Sunday at Vidyagiri campus.
Thousands of people witnessed the cultural fest of this year. More than 10000 representatives from all over the world had registered their names on the first day itself.
Sunday begun with ‘Dasavani’ from Raeez Balekhan and Hafeez Balekhan of Dharwad at Rathnakaravarni stage. Later Alva’s educational foundation students performed ‘Samskrithika Vaibha’ on the same stage.
Gherav Khan and his team from Rajasthan performed Rajasthani folk culture, Sharanappa Vadigeri team performed Karnataka folk songs and Rameshchandra and his team performed musical evening at K V Subbanna Bayalu Ranga Mandira.
Famous Kannada drama Akku was played at Dr Shivarama Karantha stage. Yakshagana was performed at Meejaru Annappa Stage. Beary literature and songs were performed by Hussain Katipalla and team at Bola Chittharanjandas stage.
Many traditional and folk dances were performed by various artists at Subhashchandra Padival stage and Dr V S Acharya hall. All the performances hypnotised the viewer and the crowd was nearly out of control.
All the events have made the viewers to wait for the next year’s Alva’s Nudisiri. This year’s Nudisiri ended with the hope of witnessing better programmes next year.
