Desk : No one is against the Commonwealth Games. But only it should not be held in India, under Sheila Dixit, Suresh Kalmadi, others like Lalit Modi and Shashi Tharoor as in IPL-3, where sports and games begin with a BANG and end in whimper. We hear presently that many outstanding and star athletes, like U. Bolt (of Jamaica) for instance, are not coming to town in Delhi.
With only 60 days left and 30 construction activities to be completed, we need a magician like Ganesh Kudroli to create them, or at least hide them from critics’ eye from today like a vanished Taj Mahal.
Why things have come to such a rotten state, when a solar Tsunami of gases and plasma, is hovering over the earth and may even hit Delhi, if not USA and North Europe? Should corruption grow to such a huge size, like the devil from Aladdin’s old lamp? Are we too poor to undertake big events, but always like to go abroad to see world class Tournaments? UPA is in shame over the matter.
The Indian newspapers are full of Delhi corruption in which Congress Moghuls mismanaged, misused and misappropriated funds meant for sports activities were stolen from Dalit funds and commission amounts sent to London to be kept safe in a foreign Bank under a false name (benami) for Kalmadi.
Ms. Dixit’s 3 terms of Delhi Chief Ministership stand busted, like L. Modi’s IPL-1 to 3 commissionership in Mumbai. One honest PM or a Defense Minister cannot Salvage Congress and the sinking UPA ship.
How minds fail and go corrupt in spite of hard work and years of governance habits, is a psychic mystery, better solved by Jung in Vienna.
India is certainly not poor, when money is flowing in, in crores of rupees from abroad, and a crore of corrupt officials / elected representatives / bad characters swallow them in 2010.
