Mangalore : District Congress Legal and Human Rights Cell which  held a meeting here  on April 24, Wednesday, has called upon the lawyers’ fraternity to support Congress candidate JR Lobo,

Addressing the meeting, Lobo said he needed the support of the lawyers in his endeavour to develop Mangalore as the second best city of the state, if he got elected.

Senior advocates Seetaram Shetty, Purushottam Poojari, Valentine D’Silva, Narayan Poojari, B Ibrahim, Kallige Taranath Shetty, MP Shenoy, Rajendra Kumar, MP Noronha and others spoke on the occasion.

KJP leader Mariamma Thomas who was also present said though she was in the KJP she supported JR Lobo personally.
