Mangaluru : Dakshina Kannada reported 12 new corona virus cases on Monday June 22.

The positive cases six of them have travelled from Kuwait and two from Qatar, one each from Muscat, Saudi Arabia and Sharjah, and one patient with influenza-like illness symptoms has tested positive.

In Dakshina Kannada 187 are currently active. As many as 250 persons have recovered and been discharged including 12 on Monday.

Udupi district reported 14 new corona virus cases on Monday.  Among the 14 patients, seven each are male and female. Eight are Maharashtra returnees, four have contracted infection from P-6843, and the source of infection of two more patients is being traced.

A total of 108 cases are currently active. Two deaths have occurred so far.
