Mangaluru :  Dakshina Kannada reported 90 fresh corona cases and one death in the district and Udupi reported 14 new cases reported on July 2, Thursday.

As per the district health bulletin on Thursday, As many as 293 samples were sent for testing. Reports of 130 samples were received out of which 90 tested positive and the rest negative. Reports of 427 samples are awaited.

A total of 428 are currently active so far, 14,430 samples have been sent for tests till date, out of which 13,080 have turned out negative, and 923 positive, As many as 477 persons have recovered and been discharged including 33 on Thursday.

Total 18 deaths have occurred so far including one on Thursday.

Udupi district reported 14 new cases on July 2, Thursday. As many as 21 persons discharged on Thursday, and 149 cases are currently active. Three deaths have occurred . One positive case has been transferred to Dakshina Kannada.
