Mangaluru : Dakshina Kannada district reported two fresh coronavirus positive cases and  22 new cases were reported in Udupi district on Thursday June 11,

The two patients, one male is a Maharashtra returnee aged 33 another is a woman aged 45 has contracted the infection from a person who returned from Mumbai on May 13 and tested positive on June 4.

Both of them have been admitted to the designated COVID hospital in the district. Eight patients were discharged on Thursday.

As many as 125 patients have recovered and been discharged, and seven have died in Dalshina Kannada.

A totaal 22 cases were reported in Udupi, 12 male and 10 female including four children tested positive for coronavirus. Among the 22 patients have arrived from Maharashtra, while the source of infection in the remaining patients is yet to be traced. There is one health worker and a group D employee among the 22 people who are tested positive on Thursday.  91 patients who recovered where discharged on Thursday.
