Mangaluru : Dakshina Kannada recorded its fifth death of novel coronavirus on Thursday, May 14.
The victim woman (P-507) resident of Kulshekar had tested positive for coronavirus on April 27 and shifted to ventilator and was said to be in serious condition from the past few days.
The 80-year-old woman admitted as Blood pressure and paralysis problem with her 45-year old son, at First Neuro hospital at Padil, later she had tested positive for coronavirus on April 27.
Out of 34 positive cases in Dakshina Kannada, and 14 are currently active. As many as 15 persons have recovered and been discharged, and five deaths have occurred so far.
