Mangaluru : Dakshina Kannada district reported 73 corona positive cases and four deaths. Udupi reported 53 new corona cases on Wednesday July 15.

As per the district health bulletin,  the 73 who tested positive on Wednesday, 11 are primary contacts, 23 have ILI symptoms, three have SARI symptoms, three has international travel history, one has inter-district travel history, and contacts of 32 are being traced.

A 60-year-old female from Sullia who also had diabetes and was on ventilator, a 73-year-old male from Bantwal who had pneumonia and was on ventilator, a 70-year-old male from Bantwal who had acute kidney disease and on ventilator, and a 68-year-old female from Bantwal who was also suffering from diabetes of died on corona infection.

As many as 104 patients were discharged on Wednesday from Wenlock as well as private hospitals.

Udupi district reported 53 new corona cases on Wednesday July 15. Out of the 53, two each had travelled from Bengaluru and Mumbai, 16 have ILI symptoms and 33 are primary contacts of earlier patients. Six people who tested positive are from district hospital Ajjarkad which include two doctors. 23 have been discharged from hospital on Wednesday.
