Mumbai: Under the captainship of Mahendar Singh Dhoni, Wicket Keeper and batsmen, India got a heavy beat in England and Australia, losing four Tests each, often by an innings as in Australia, conceding double and triple centuries to English/Australian players without anything worthwhile coming in as experienced batsmen by Tendulkar, Laxman and Dravid even when bowlers had done well on their part.

Now M.S. Dhoni has thrown his gauntlet at BCCI, by accepting a change in leadership if someone better than him is available.
