Mangalore : The newly elected MLA’s of Karnataka legislative assembly overwhelmingly endorsed Siddaramaiah as their leader and Congress high command selected him as the 28th Chief minister of Karnataka on May 10th.
Addressing the gathering in front of Congress office, Kallige Tharanath Shetty said that 80 MLA’s out of 121 suggested Siddaramaiah as their leader because of his past record.
Regarding the Law and order situation in DK, he said that moral policing, attack on place of worship will be dealt with severely hareafter and police department is free to do their duty without the interference of outside forces.
Ashraf, former mayor of Mangalore said that Karnataka election results will be replicated in forthcoming national election and People of Karnataka brought peace full transition in the state and celebrating Congress victory every where in the state.
