Mangalore  : Alvas Vishwa Nudisiri  Virasat festival, a cultural bonanza for his admirers, is scheduled to be held from December 19 to 22,2013.

Addressing a press conference held at Pathrika Bhavan on Wednesday Dr.Mohan Alva informed the news persons as follows:

Pr. B.A Vivek Rai former Voice Chancellor of   Hampi and Mysore Open Universities has been unanimously elected as president for this world-level festival.

On 19^th a large procession exhibiting the States  Jyanapada specialties and folklore will be on show in the streets of Moodabidre on its way to Vidhyagiri the venue of the festival.

It is executed that over 2 lacks of people interested in cultural and traditional programs will come on all 4 days and enjoy the show at Vidhyagiri.  Several stages are arranged to conduct agricultural and other programs be side cultural and literally activities by young and old.

Mr. Chengappa information officer also addressed the gathering of scribes.
