Kota: A fish meal processing plant has been shut by the representatives of the people on Thursday which is located adjacent to Balekudru school in Hangarakatte near Udupi town.
The proposed plant was scheduled to start functioning on January 15 amid strong protests by the local residents as the processing unit would pollute the environment heavily.
