Kasargod : The Gandhi Peace Bus Yatra aimed at spreading the Universal message of peace of the Father of the Nation, was accorded a grand reception on its arrival at Kasargod on July 1, Sunday.  The Yatra has been jointly organized by the Kerala Gandhi Smaraka Nidhi in association with Nehru Youth Centre and National Foundation for Communal Harmony.

A programme held at the Kasargod Government College in connection with the arrival of the Yatra was inaugurated by SP S Surendranath.Moosa B Cherkal, Kasargod Block panchayat vice-president, Dr Radhakrishna N, (Gandhi peace bus organizer), K Abdul Rehman, A Shrinath Kasargod, Madhavan Nambiar, Karunakaran among others were present.

The Gandhi Peace bus displayed video clippings of Gandhiji were screened books on the Father of the Nation were also displayed as part of the Yatra.
