Mangaluru: CM Siddaramaiah hasn’t reached people’s expectation level. Before the elections people had faith on him, but now he is not taking any of the problems seriously. He is not responding for people’s problems, said former union minister and veteran Congress leader Janardhana Poojary on Tuesday at Mangaluru Press Club.

Addressing the press personnel here he questioned the government’s work by saying that, what good work has been done in past three years? Is Siddaramaiah is trying to change the law? Many farmers have committed suicide, is CM is waiting for aome more to die? Why no immediate action was taken in D K Ravi and DySP Ganapathi suicide case?

“People are expecting answer to these questions. CM’s chair is shaking. There are many able Congressmen in CM’s post’s race. Oscar Fernandes, Mallikarjun Kharge, Motamm and Dr Parameshwar are also eligible to be the CM of this state. Still there is time. GO to high command and explain them everything. Or else high command will call a meeting of MLA’s to decide who will be the next CM. There is no scarcity of the leaders in the party,” he said.

“The reason behind I am using Press Club for the press conference instead of Congress office is Dinesh Gundurao has ordered not to use Congress office to speak against Congress or the government. He doesn’t know that I am saving the party. I didn’t want to embarrass him,” he added.

He further said that no one in the part can sideline him. Dinesh Gundurao has knowledge, but Ramanatha Rai doesn’t.
