Mangalore : Michael Lobo, BJP MLA Calangute said that in Goa, Out of 21 BJP MLA seats, 7 are minorities and all minorities have joined to wipe out Congress from the state.

Speaking at the press meet held at District BJP office on April 27, Saturday, he said that Congress has always tried to project BJP as communal party and they have been finishing Goa in the name of communalism.

When minorities join hands with majorities through BJP will give good governance as people wish.

Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral said that in Goa there are certain section of people who try to tarnish the image of BJP by creating problem with various attacks and on enquiry they reveal their identity as original BJP workers.

Goa BJP has given 33percent reservation to the minorities, he said.

MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik said that the Goa MLA team will campaign in district for two days.

He also flagged off the BJP campaign vehicle installed with LED projector and will move in the twin district for 7 days. This is the first vehicle started in the state and 22 vehicles will move around in 32 districts. The vehicle will stop in 6 points in one constituency.

Aldano MLA Glen Souza Ticolo, Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida, Goa BJP State executive member Juinho D’Souza and Goa BJP State Vice President Dattaprasad Kholker were present at the press meet.
