Bangalore : The three constituencies, vacated under operation Lotus, namely Channapatna, Jagalur (SC) and Bangaraper (ST), will have fresh polls on April 9. Results will be out on May 13 next.
H.D. Kumaraswamy has decided to contest the Channapatna Seat, raising high expectations among voters. HDK repeated his steatment made on Sunday last, today saying he would seek the guidance of elders and part workers in the matter. He appears to re-enter the state politics now, sources close to him indicated. Devagowda has agreed to this proposal. HDK is tied of his inability to join hands with a non-cooperative Congress at Delhi. He seeks fresh entry into state politics now.
By HDK’s arrival the legislature also will have added colour, his friends say. Congress may ask actor Ambarish to contest from Channapatna. There were no BJP MLS’s in the  3 constituencies earlier.
There are several candidates seeking a ticker to contest in the 3 areas which are not represented now.
