Mangalore : The Hindu Jana Jagarana Vedike staged a protest outside the DC office on July 29, Sunday urging the release of some of its activists who have been arrested in connection with the Morning Mist Home stay attack case.
The agitators claimed that their fellow mates only aimed at protecting Indian culture by raiding the party which was against the culture of the land. The Vedike activists also alleged that one of its members were beaten up.
The protestors were immediately arrested and taken away by the police. The protest was led by Satyajit Suratkal and several other leaders of the Vedike.
