Mangalore : The homestay attack case which was being heard in the JMFC III court until now has now been transferred to the District Sessions Court. Mangalore Rural police station inspector Ravish Naik said as charges of theft and assault too were involved , the hearing has been transferred to the Sessions Court.
All the 37 arrested in connection with the case, were produced before the Sessions Court on January 28, Monday and their custody period has been extended.
The homestay attack took place on July 28, 2012 wherein partying young boys and girls were attacked by Hindu Jagarana Vedike activists.
