Mangalore : The BJP Yuva Morcha took out a rally from Mangala Stadium to Hampankatta on May 1, Wednesday as part of its campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections.

Captain Ganesh Karnik, Monappa Bhandari, MLCs,Raghavendra Rao, District BJP Yuva Morcha President, Srikhar Prabhu and others were among the hundreds of Yuva Morcha workers who took part in the rally.

Several  men including HMS leader Sureshchandra Shetty and his supporters joined the BJP on the occasion.

Padmanabha Kottari, District BJP President, who spoke on the occasion, said the entry of  Sureshchandra Shetty and his supporters has doubled the strength of the BJP and hoped of ta win of the BJP candidate in the upcoming elections. He also claimed that the BJP has given due encouragement to youngsters and exuded confident that the party candidates would win.

Several; BJP leaders including MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Rajgopal Rai and others were present.
