Mangalore : In order to improve the economy, India must focus on agriculture said Firoze B. Andhyarujina, the senior counsel of Mumbai High Court, speaking at a panel discussion on India’s Balance Sheet organized jointly by the Mangalore branch of SIRC of ICAI in collaboration with K. Ganesh Shenoy Memorial Trust of Mangalore held at Hotel Ocean Pearl on Mar 24, Saturday.
He also said that the government must focus on giving importance to the agriculture through economy. He also briefed on importance on food distribution and food storage.
Speaking on the year’s budget, he said that this year’s budget has given opportunity for infrastructural development. Indians are innovative people and people’s patience and knowledge is the biggest asset of the country.
Murali Mohan, the chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Mangalore Chapter moderated the seesions.
