Mangalore: The Youth Congress in state intends to conduct a membership increase drive from April 25 through Party elections.
Abu Sharma, INC Lok Sabha election officer told Pressmen here on Wednesday that it was the first time  that internal party elections were conducted in INC. After the membership drive, a booth level office-bearers’ election will be done, and later for Assembly constituency level, state level and Lok Sabha level party elections will be held for IYC. To ensure fairness in these election processes, an NGO (FAME) created by a former CEC, Lyngdoh, has been asked by Rahul Gandhi to audit the new membership and ensure impartial elections open to all.
