While JD(U) rules in Bihar, JD(S) its counterpart in JD (it self a united party of janatha Party and Loka Dal), has been unsealed from state saddle of power in 2007 after a 20 months’ rule. JD-S is angling for S. Bangarappa and Siddaramaiah among others, to to join in.
Speaking to the newspapers on Monday here, Devegowda called for new leaders to come in again, but there was no compulsion, he made it clear.
A massive rally is being organised in Bengaluru on Dec 16, he informed which will answer critics who talk of JD-S as a “father and sons” party Deve Gowda stated. He added that more applicants were coming forward to contest on JD-S tickets for ZP/TP elections.
