Mangalore: District JD(S) Working President Vittla Mohammad Kunhi inaugurated Tipu Sultan Nagar at Kudroli here on February 4, Monday.
Speaking after the inaugural, Mohammad Kunhi said Kudroli was a fast developing area now. He alleged the Congress corporators who had represented the area in the past had failed to do any developmental works and praised the present corporator Abdul Azeez for doing good works in the ward.
Abdul Azeez who also spoke said he has been successful in implementing works costing Rs 2 crores in his ward and added he was extremely grateful to the former MCC commissioner Dr KN Vijayaprakash for all the support. He said all roads have interlocks in Kudroli. He also informed that Rs 6.5 lakh has been spent to provide tap water in Tipu Sultan Nagar while Rs 13 lakh is being utilized for tarring the road.
