Mangalore : It’s a happy today at Kenjaru International Air Terminal for CEO M.R. Vasudeva and his air staff members, as an Air India Express flight no. 9/820 became the first to land at the brand new Kenjaru Terminal in Mangalore suburbs on Monday at 6 am. The new airport building and office under Director MR Vasudeva started functioning a day late, nevertheless the working day has made passengers and all others happy. Vasudeva greeted the passengers like a host on their arrival.
Air India station Manager, Ms Chellam Prasad, airport officials, and AIE staff members looked pleased and were present on this historic occasion on the West Coast of Karnataka.
All necessary equipments from Bajpe are transplanted by workers to the new air terminal built in Kenjaru in a month’s time. Vasudeva told press persons that all passenger flights will henceforth take place from Kenjaru. Bajpe may become an Air Cargo Port hereafter.
