Mangalore: Local BJP workers celebrated the latest success of BJP candidate Karadi Somganna in the Koppala bypolls for an Assembly seat this week.

The results were announced on Thursday. The party workers gathered in strength to burst the usual crackers, and distribute  sweet balls to all around.

BJP has not last any by-poll since 2008. The new CM DV Sadananda Gowda was president of BJP then, and CM now, with a series of Successes registered under his guidance.
