Mangaluru : The number of devotees performing ‘Ede Snana’ — a ritual of rolling over the ‘prasadam’ offered to the presiding deity — at Kukke Subrahmanya temple saw an increase on the second day of the Champa Shashti festivities on Wednesday.
As many as 401 devotees performed the ritual on Wednesday, according to an official of the temple.
On Tuesday, 124 devotees had performed it, the official told that they were expecting the numbers to increase on Thursday. The Champa Shashti festivities conclude with Brahma Rathotsava on Thursday.
