Bangalore: By resigning his CM post under stress, Yeddyurappa did not walk out of rings of fire that encircled him, anywhere in state. The Lokayukta police have registered one more case against him, on Bhadra Upper Bund Project works re irregularities on Wednesday at Lokayukta office.
The JD-S spokesman YSV Datta had complained about certain irregularities in Bhadra project.
The LA special court got a suit recorded on Aug 8 for enquiry, under Crime no.33/11(FIR). Datta in complaint stated that ex-CM collected a kick-back of Rs.13crores out of a Rs.1033crore tender awarded to a black-listed RNS Infrastructures Ltd from Himachal Pradesh in 2009.
The money was shifted to ex-CM’s sons’ Dhawalgiri and Sahyadri Cos accounts. The Lokayukta report in the matter will be submitted by Sept.3, while bail pleas of all politicians can be rejected by courts under SC orders. Yeddyurapppa stands in the dock for cross-examinations in this context, unable to get anticipatory bail.
